"CLEANING HOUSE" REVELATION 15:1-8

In the wake of our Thanksgiving gathering, we were reminded once again

of just how much is involved with a family meal.

The preparation is easy, but it’s the cleanup that seems like a drudgery.

With a seemingly endless stream of silverware, pots, plates, platters and glasses,

we trudged on, faithfully scrubbing until the last of the work was done.

The relief was profound and the satisfaction that the worst was behind us was eclipsed

by the fact that our bed was heavenly.
